THE BIGGEST HEALTHCARE PROVIDER IN FINLAND AWARDS MOBILE X-RAY CONTRACT TO SOLUTIONS FOR TOMORROW

Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) has selected Solutions for tomorrow and its dealer Lifemed to provide the entire region with mobile X-ray units. The contract is valid for one year and can be extended to two more years. This was the biggest single contract for mobile DR units in Finland.
Two first units have been installed in Helsinki University Meilahti Hospital and they are used for mobile imaging in ICU, CCU and general wards. Total of five more systems are expected to be delivered in 2020 – 2021.
HUS is the biggest and most specialised health care provider in Finland helping residents of 24 municipalities. It serves more than half a milion patients annually and in addition, the treatment of many rare and severe diseases is nationally centralised to HUS.
